While some practitioners come to this web site for quick answers to specific questions, others are interested in fuller professional development through concentrated work in various areas. Due to the comprehensive nature of the courses and the work involved, we have looked for ways to acknowledge and recognize this level of training.

Lakehead University, in Thunder Bay, Ontario is authorized to award non-credit certificates to participants who successfully complete professional development courses in Lakehead’s Faculty of Education, Department of Lifelong Learning. Most of the courses found on this web site are included in the roster of PD courses offered at Lakehead. LBS Practitioners wishing to complete courses for accreditation need to register for them through Lakehead University.
